Bye-election to the Council to fill the casual vacancy

Bye-election to the Council from Western India Regional Constituency to fill the casual vacancy on the Council.

The general elections to the Council of the Institute were held in December, 2021 and new Council was constituted on 12th February, 2022. Unfortunately, CA. Sunil Kumar Patodia, a member of the Council from Western India Regional Constituency expired on 18.2.2022 and a casual vacancy has occurred on the Council. To fill the said vacancy, the bye-election is required to be held for one seat from the Western India Regional Constituency comprising the states of Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra and the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

This is for the information of the members at large particularly to those belonging to the Western Region that the Council of the Institute has decided to hold the said bye-election on 16th and 17th September, 2022 (Friday and Saturday) in cities having 1000 or more members and on 17th September, 2022 (Saturday) in other cities where polling booths will be set up.
