First Placement Programme for Women CAs

Announcement for First Placement Programme for Women Chartered Accountants (CAs) (with standing of 1 year and above)

ICAI through its Committee for Members in Industry & Business (CMI&B) and Women Members Empowerment Committee (WMEC) is conducting first ever placement programme specially designed for women members in industry, to explore placement opportunities for them to work on flexi-time/ part-time/ work from home.

ELIGIBILITY OF WOMEN MEMBERS FOR PLACEMENT PROGRAMME:
Women Chartered Accountants (not holding full time COP) having obtained membership as on
30th September, 2021 or prior to that are eligible to participate.

REGISTRATION FEE:

Members who wish to register for the placement shall be required to remit a registration cum participation fee (non-refundable) amounting to Rs 1,000/-plus 18% GST.

GUIDELINES:
• The members must register online at https://cmib.icai.org/ under the head ‘Career Ascent’.
• A member can consent for only three (3) recruiting entity irrespective of the number of recruiting entities shortlisting her.
• Interviews will be conducted through virtual mode by the platform convenient to the participating organization as per their roster.
• Link for attending virtual interview will be shared by participating organizations with all consented members on their registered e-mail id.
• Once finally selected by any organization and on accepting the offer by signing the offer letter of respective organization/ declaration form provided by ICAI, the member cannot appear for any other interview or accept job from the other recruiting organization that have interviewed her in Career Ascent programme.

• ICAI reserves the right to change its policy or change the guidelines of the programme at any point of time at its discretion.
• ICAI does not guarantee that the Members who have filled in the data will be actually present in the interview or after selection she would join the organization.
• ICAI does not guarantee that the recruiter will necessarily interview all the consenting candidates.
• It is the responsibility of the recruiters to ascertain accuracy of the credentials furnished by the members at the time of interviews.
