ICAI Releases Compendium of Information Systems Audit Standards (ISAS)
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the publication of the Compendium of Information Systems Audit Standards (ISAS), which has been approved by the Council of ICAI.
These standards establish a structured, principles-based framework to guide professionals in conducting Information Systems (IS) audit engagements. The compendium addresses key areas including IT governance, risk management, internal control systems, cybersecurity practices, data protection measures, and compliance with relevant information technology laws and regulations.
