One-Time Relaxation for Generation of Pending UDINs
The Council has granted a one-time relaxation to enable members to generate UDINs that were missed for documents or reports signed between 22 October 2025 and 22 November 2025. The delay occurred due to the migration to the new **Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) UDIN portal.
Members may now generate the pending UDINs for such documents during the special window from 1 April 2026 to 30 April 2026 (both days inclusive).
For documents or reports outside the above-mentioned period, the existing rule will continue to apply, under which UDIN must be generated within 60 days from the date of signing.
