Extension of Minimum Import Price requirement for certain products

Extension of Minimum Import Price (MIP) requirement for certain products under Chapter 48 of ITC (HS) 2022 – Schedule-I (Import Policy) – Notification No.: 69/2025–26
In exercise of the powers granted under Section 3 and Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023, and in continuation of Notification No. 26/2025-26 dated 22.08.2025 along with Policy Circular No. 04/2025-26 dated 03.09.2026, the Central Government has decided to extend the Minimum Import Price (MIP) condition for certain items classified under Chapter 48 of ITC (HS) 2022 – Schedule-I (Import Policy).
The extension will remain effective for one additional month, i.e., from 31.03.2026 to 30.04.2026, while all other provisions and conditions will continue as specified in Notification No. 26/2025-26 dated 22.08.2025.
Impact of the Notification:
The Minimum Import Price (MIP) applicable to the import of Virgin Multi-layer Paper Board (VPB) has been continued at INR 67,220 per metric tonne (CIF value). This condition applies to imports under ITC (HS) Codes 48059100, 48059200, 48059300, 48109200, and 48109900 and will remain valid until 30 April 2026.
This notification has been issued with the approval of the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
