Rescheduling of Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination – May 2026
In continuation of the Institute’s Important Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/MAY/2026 dated 12 December 2025, it is hereby informed for the benefit of all candidates that, due to unavoidable circumstances, the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination scheduled to commence on 3 May 2026 (Sunday) has been rescheduled across examination centres in India and overseas.
The examination will now begin on 5 May 2026 (Tuesday). The examination timing will remain unchanged, i.e., 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST).

Intermediate Course Examination
(As per the syllabus prescribed under Regulation 28F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988)
Group I:
5 May 2026, 7 May 2026, 9 May 2026
Group II:
11 May 2026, 13 May 2026, 15 May 2026
It is further clarified that the examination schedule for other courses, namely Foundation, Final, and Post Qualification Course (PQC – INTT-AT), as notified earlier in the announcement dated 12 December 2025, remains unchanged.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of the Institute for updates.
