Clarification on Eligibility of New ECGC Whole Turnover Policy

Clarification on Eligibility of New ECGC Whole Turnover Policy under RELIEF (EPM)
Reference is made to Notification No. 65/2025-26 dated 19 March 2026, through which the Government introduced a time-bound scheme titled Resilience & Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation (RELIEF) under the Export Promotion Mission.
Under Component II of this scheme, assistance is provided to exporters to promote the use of ECGC credit insurance for shipments routed to, or passing through, certain identified countries in the Gulf and West Asia region that are currently impacted.
A query has been raised regarding whether exporters who obtain an ECGC Whole Turnover Policy for the first time on or after 16 March 2026 are eligible for benefits under this component.
In this context, it is clarified that such exporters will also qualify for support under Component II, provided the policy has been taken for the first time on or after the указан date.
All other terms and conditions specified in the above-mentioned notification will continue to apply without any change.
This clarification is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
