Extension of the RoDTEP Scheme up to 31 December 2026

Extension of the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme up to 31 December 2026

S.O. (E): In exercise of the powers vested in it under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, as amended, read with Paragraph 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby announces the continuation of the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme until 31 December 2026.

  1. The Scheme shall remain applicable to eligible exports undertaken by Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) units, holders of Advance Authorisation (AA), Special Economic Zone (SEZ) units and Export Oriented Units (EOUs) during the extended period.
  2. The RoDTEP rates and applicable value caps prescribed under Appendix 4R and Appendix 4RE, as applicable on 30 September 2026, shall remain in force without any change for the period of extension.
  3. Except for the extension specified above, all other provisions, conditions, procedures and requirements applicable to the RoDTEP Scheme shall continue to operate without modification.

Effect of the Notification

The RoDTEP Scheme shall continue to be available for eligible exports made by DTA units, AA holders, SEZ units and EOUs up to 31 December 2026, subject to the applicable rates, value caps and existing scheme conditions.

This notification is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
