Amendment in Import Policy condition of Cashew Kernels (broken/ whole)- NOTIFICATION No. 59/2015-2020
S.O. 796(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the import policy condition of cashew kernels (broken) under ITC(HS) Code 08013210 and cashew kernel (whole) under ITC(HS) Code 08013220 under Chapter-08 of ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule 1 (Import Policy) as under:

Effect of this Notification: Minimum Import Price (MIP) on Cashew kernel (broken / whole) will not be applicable for imports by 100% Export Oriented Units (EOUs) and units in the SEZs subject to the condition that the imported Cashew Kernels are not sold into Domestic Tariff Area (DTA).
This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce & Industry.
