Amendment in Appendix 2U of the Handbook of Procedures (HBP) 2023 – Changes in eBRC Format
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) hereby notifies amendments to Appendix 2U of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023 relating to the issuance of Electronic Bank Realisation Certificate (eBRC).
- The following changes have been made in the existing eBRC format:
(i) Addition of new fields:
- GSTIN
- GST Invoice Number
- GST Invoice Date
(ii) Modification of existing field:
- The field “Address/GSTIN” has been modified and replaced with “Address”.
- Effect of this Public Notice:
Appendix 2U of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023 stands revised to incorporate the above changes, as detailed in Annexure-I. The revised Appendix shall be operational with effect from 13th January, 2026.
