Maintain and update financial records in Tally ERP. Prepare and file GST/TDS returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Coordinate with auditors and assist in audits. Monitor cash flow and budget adherence. RECRUITMENT FOR ‘SENIOR OFFICE ASSISTANT CUM ACCOUNTANT’ AND ‘OFFICE ASSISTANT’:
A. GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Application is to be submitted by a candidate only once for one position. In case of multiple Applications for the same position, only the latest valid application will be retained.
- Candidates may note that they are liable to be posted / transferred to other locations as per the Branch Human Resources Scheme 2022.
- The number of vacancies is liable to change. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill or partially fill any of the vacancies or to vary the number of vacancies or may opt not to fill any vacancy due to administrative reasons without assigning any reason whatsoever.
- If it is found that the candidate has submitted incomplete/ false information or suppressed facts or made misrepresentation in the Application form, his/her candidature is liable to be rejected and in such an event the candidate is liable to be proceeded against by ICAI in accordance with law besides debarring him/her from applying for future employment in the Institute.
- Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
- The decision of the Institute in all matters relating to the recruitment, selection and posting shall be final and binding on the candidates.
- Only the candidates meeting the eligibility criteria as per the advertisement will be considered.
All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/Deemed University/Institution/Board recognized by law. - The work experience shall be on full time basis which will be counted only after obtaining the required qualification.
- The date for reckoning the age, qualification, experience etc. shall be as on 30.11.2024.
- Mere possession of minimum eligibility criteria does not entitle the candidate for selection to the post applied for.
- Verification of documents shall be carried out by Institute. Candidates may also note that their candidature will remain provisional, even after successful completion of process, till the genuineness of the documents related to Academic Qualification, Experience etc. are verified.
- Candidates must ensure that their email address and mobile number registered in their online Application Form are active & in use as relevant/important information/communication will be sent on the registered e-mail address and/or through SMS on registered mobile number only.
The email ID / Mobile number should be functional/ active till completion of the recruitment process. The Institute shall not be responsible for any noncommunication/ miscommunication with a candidate in the email address or mobile number given by him/her. - Candidates are advised to visit the website of the Institute and check their e-mails regularly for latest updates.
- Candidates working in Govt. / PSUs / Autonomous bodies (including Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions) must furnish ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ at the time of Interview.
- Mere issuance of Call Letter / Admit Card shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of selection process.
- Every employee, on his initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of one year from the date of joining the services of the Branch. In case of non-satisfactory conduct or work performance of the employee, the services shall be liable to be terminated forthwith or the probation period may be extended at the discretion of the HR Department for a further maximum period of one year. Even after the expiry of the extended period of probation, the conduct or performance of the employee is not found satisfactory, the services shall be liable to be terminated forthwith.
- The Institute reserves the right to modify terms and conditions/ issue corrigendum at any time without prior notice. Please note that any notification/ corrigendum will be published only on the ICAI website, and it is the applicant’s responsibility to check the same.

B. SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT
- The candidates eligible as per advertised criteria shall undergo written objective (MCQ) test

- The written test will be of 425 marks followed by Interview which will be of 75 marks.
- The pass percentage for the written test and Interview shall be 40% in each.
- The candidates found successful in the written test will be called for Interview.
- Before appearance of the candidates in the interview, HR Department shall verify the self-attested copies of the documents / educational certificates with the original certificates / documents to ascertain the genuineness of the documents submitted by the candidate. In case, the self-attested copies are not found in order, such candidate will not be permitted for Interview and his application shall be rejected forthwith.
- In respect of all the Candidates found successful in Interview, the marks obtained in the Interview will be added to the marks obtained in the written test and merit list will be prepared.
- The location of the Branch of Initial posting shall be allotted to the Candidates based on their performance as per merit, their preference of region / branches and availability of position in the branch subject to their eligibility.
- The educational qualifications / credentials submitted by the shortlisted candidates for appointment shall be verified from the respective University or the Board or Institute or Organisation.
- If all the documents as mentioned in the preceding paragraph are found to be in order, the HR Department shall issue the appointment letter to the successful candidates subject to eligibility as mentioned in the succeeding paragraph.
- Before joining the services in the branch, the Candidate shall furnish Medical Fitness Certificate, Character Certificate and Police Verification Report.
a. Medical Fitness Certificate shall be obtained from a registered medical practitioner not below the rank of District level Medical Officer or as may be prescribed by HR Department from time to time.
b. Character certificate shall be obtained from a Class-1 Gazetted officer/Magistrate.
c. Police verification Report from the jurisdictional Police department. - Every employee shall accept the terms and conditions of his employment under the Branch Human Resources Scheme 2022 in writing before joining the services in the branch.
- Appointed candidate shall submit a joining report duly signed by the Chairman of the concerned branch to the HR Department after joining the service in the Branch.
