Accountants) (1 year and above) Career Ascent – July 2026
The Placement Directorate of ICAI is pleased to announce the July 2026 edition of the Career Ascent Programme, an employment initiative designed exclusively for experienced Chartered Accountants seeking professional growth and enhanced career opportunities with reputed organizations.
This programme serves as an extension of the regular Campus Placement Programme conducted for newly qualified Chartered Accountants and provides a dedicated platform for members with work experience to connect with leading employers across various industries.
Eligibility Criteria
A member shall be eligible to participate if:
- He or she is an active member of ICAI with a valid membership number.
- The membership has been held for at least one year as of 31 May 2026.
- The date of admission as a member is on or before 31 May 2025.
- The member is not holding a full-time Certificate of Practice (COP) as of 31 May 2026.

Registration Fee
Members interested in participating are required to pay a non-refundable registration and participation fee of ₹500 (inclusive of applicable taxes).
Instructions for Participating Members
- Registration must be completed through the online placement portal.
- A member may select up to three recruiting organizations, irrespective of the total number of organizations that shortlist the member.
- Once a member accepts an offer and completes the required acceptance formalities, participation in further interviews under the programme will not be permitted.
- Application submission will be considered complete only after successful submission of the registration form and payment of the prescribed fee.
- In case multiple successful fee payments are made by a member, excess payments will be refunded within one month.
- Interviews will be conducted through virtual mode.
- Updates regarding registration, shortlisting, interview schedules, and other programme-related information will be communicated through the placement portal.

- The organizing authority reserves the right to revise policies, procedures, schedules, or programme guidelines whenever required.
- Participation in the programme does not guarantee interview opportunities, selection, or employment.
- Recruiting organizations are advised to independently verify the qualifications, experience, and credentials of participating candidates during the recruitment process.
