ICAI Announces Online Assessment Test for Certificate Course on NBFCs – August 2026
The Financial Markets and Investors’ Awareness Committee (FMIAC) of ICAI has announced the schedule for the Online Assessment Test (AT) for participants of the Certificate Course on Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). The examination will be conducted online through the ICAI Digital Learning Hub.

Face Authentication Deadline
Candidates must complete the mandatory Face Registration/Authentication process at least two days before the examination, by 1:30 PM. Requests for extension beyond the prescribed deadline will not be accepted.
Assessment Test Registration
Registration eligibility depends on the batch attended:
- Participants of the 3rd Physical Batch can register for the Assessment Test without any examination fee.
- Participants of the 1st and 2nd Physical Batches (Delhi) are required to pay an examination fee of ₹1,000 plus applicable GST before registering for the test.
Eligibility Requirements
To appear for the Assessment Test, candidates should satisfy the following conditions:
- Hold a valid and active ICAI Membership Number.
- Complete at least 75% attendance in the professional training programme.
- Have access to a desktop or laptop with a reliable internet connection.
- Ensure a working webcam is available.
- Use valid SSP Portal credentials to access the ICAI Digital Learning Hub.
- Complete face registration within the prescribed timeline.
- Upload a recent photograph on the SSP portal.
- Successfully complete live face authentication during the examination.
Important Guidelines
- The examination will be conducted online through the ICAI Digital Learning Hub.
- Members should verify their login credentials and access to the portal well before the examination date.
- Login-related issues may be reported in advance by emailing the designated ICAI support addresses. Assistance for login problems may not be available on the examination day.
- Face authentication with a live verification process is compulsory before the examination begins.
- Applications submitted after the prescribed deadline will not be considered, and such candidates will have to appear in a future Assessment Test.
Examination Pattern
- Paper I: Covers all chapters included in the course curriculum.
- Duration: 2 Hours.
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
