Annual quota for the fiscal year 2021–22- Notification
S.O. 1266(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992), read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby notifies the annual quota for the fiscal year 2021–22 for the following items of Chapter 7 of the Indian Trade Classification (Harmonized System), 2017, Schedule-1 (Import Policy):
- Import shall be allowed to the Millers/Refiners/Traders and will be allocated equally to pre-determined numbers of applicant through an algorithm based lottery system, as per procedure to be notified by DGFT.
- The above quota restriction will not apply to Government’s import commitments under any bilateral/regional Agreement/Memorandum of Understanding.
- This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official Gazette. The above mentioned quota for the fiscal year 2021-2022 shall be allotted as per detailed procedure to be notified by Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
