ICAI Announces Online Assessment Test for IFSCA Capital Markets Certificate Course
The Financial Markets and Investors’ Awareness Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for the Online Assessment Test (AT) for its Certificate Course on Regulatory Framework for Capital Markets Intermediaries and Listing Requirements of IFSCA.
The assessment will be conducted online through the ICAI Digital Learning Hub.

Face Authentication Deadline
Participants are required to complete the prescribed face registration/authentication process by 1:30 PM, two days before the examination.
ICAI has clarified that no additional time will be granted for completing face authentication. Accordingly, eligible members should complete the process within the prescribed deadline.
Eligibility and Technical Requirements
Members intending to appear for the assessment should ensure that the following requirements are fulfilled:
- The participant must have an active ICAI Membership Number.
- The minimum eligibility requirement of 75% attendance in Professional Training must have been completed.
- A desktop or laptop with a reliable internet connection should be available.
- A working camera must be connected to the device.
- The participant must be able to access the ICAI Digital Learning Hub using SSP Portal credentials.
- Face Registration on the Digital Learning Hub must be completed within the prescribed deadline.
- A recent photograph should be available on the member’s SSP dashboard.
- At the time of starting the examination, candidates will be required to undergo face authentication along with a liveliness check, which may include actions such as blinking.
Examination Registration
Registration for the assessment test, without any examination fee, is available through the dashboard for participants of the 1st Virtual Batch.
Members should complete their examination registration and other mandatory formalities within the prescribed timelines.
Important Instructions for Candidates
The assessment test will be available on 19 September 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM through the ICAI Digital Learning Hub.
Participants are advised to verify their ability to access the Digital Learning Hub using their SSP credentials at least two days before the examination rather than waiting until the examination day.
Online face authentication is compulsory for appearing in the assessment.
ICAI has also stated that requests or applications submitted after the prescribed deadline will not be considered. Members who are unable to complete the required process within the timeline will have to appear in a subsequent assessment test.

ICAI has specifically advised candidates not to wait until the day of the examination for resolving login problems, as assistance for such issues may not be available on the examination day.
