Corrigendum to List of Voters – Central Region
No. 54-EL(1)/13-C-1/2021: In pursuance of sub-rule (1) of rule 6 of the Chartered Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006 read with sub-regulation (4)(i) of regulation 134 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Lists of Voters as on 1.4.2021 for election to the Twenty Fifth Council and Twenty Fourth Regional Councils were published and made available w.e.f. 1st September, 2021. Pursuant to the publication of the said Lists of Voters, certain clerical mistakes/omissions were brought to the notice of the Institute in respect of List of Voters for Central India Regional Constituency comprising the States of Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. In order to remove the likely hardship to the voters concerned, these clerical mistakes/omissions are now being rectified, after verification of records, in exercise of powers vested under sub-rule (6) of rule 6 of the aforesaid Rules read with sub-regulation (4)(vi) of regulation 134 of the aforesaid Regulations, by way of this Corrigendum.

Certain voters appearing under the city “Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) actually belongs to “Nagda (Madhya Pradesh)” city which falls under the Ujjain District. These members have wrongly been shown under the city Ujjain. The distance between these two cities is about 57 kilometers. To remove the hardships to such voters “Nagda (Madhya Pradesh) has been created as a separate city. The voters as per details given below are hereby attached with the new Polling Booth No. C259 at Nagda address of which is given below:-
