De-oiled Rice Bran added to the First Schedule to the APEDA Act
S.O. 2100(E).—Whereas the Central Government, having regard to the development and promotion of export of de-oiled rice bran, considers it necessary and expedient to add De-oiled Rice Bran to the First Schedule to the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985 (2 of 1986);
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Act, 1985 (2 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the First Schedule to the said Act, namely: –
In the first Schedule to the said Act, after serial number 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entry shall be added, namely: –
“15. De-oiled rice bran.”.
Note : The First Schedule to the Act was amended by Notification numbers S.O. 183(E), dated the
16th February, 1988, S.O. 739(E), dated the 30th October, 1991, S.O. 183(E), dated 05th March,
1992 and S.O. 748(E), dated the 28th March, 2008.
