📢 FAFD Online Assessment Test (AT) – January 2026

The next Online Assessment Test (AT) for the Certificate Course on Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection (FAFD) will be conducted as per the details given below:

🗓️ Important Dates

• Assessment Test Date:
  Saturday, 24th January 2026
  Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
  Mode: Online through ICAI Digital Learning Hub
  👉 https://learning.icai.org
• Registration Start Date:
  6th January 2026 (10:00 AM)
• Last Date for Registration & Face Registration:
  17th January 2026 (5:30 PM)
  ⚠️ No extension shall be granted under any circumstances.
• Mock Test:
  21st January 2026 (Wednesday)
  Time: 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon (ONLY)

⚠️ Mandatory Face Registration

All candidates must complete Face Registration / Authentication at
👉 https://learning.icai.org
on or before 17th January 2026 (5:30 PM).

Face authentication will include liveliness detection (eye blink verification).
Approval of face registration may take 24–48 hours.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Members are eligible to appear in this AT if they have:

• An Active ICAI Membership Number
• Completed Professional Training with:
  • Minimum 90% attendance
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in:
    • Module Tests
    • Project Work
• Completed their Professional Training on or before 31st December 2025

💻 Technical Requirements

Candidates must ensure availability of:

• Desktop / Laptop (❌ Mobile / Tablet not allowed)
• Stable internet connectivity
• Working camera attached to the system
• Active login on ICAI Digital Learning Hub

⚠️ Accessing the exam through Mobile/Tablet will be treated as use of unfair means.

📝 Mock Test Details

• Mock Test is optional but highly recommended
• Only provides look & feel of the exam
• Questions may or may not be related to FAFD syllabus
• Only candidates who complete face registration by 17th January 2026 can appear
• Detailed instructions will be shared separately

🧾 Registration Process

🔹 For First-Time Candidates (No Fee)

1. Login at 👉 https://learning.icai.org using SSP credentials
2. Go to My Dashboard
3. Select:
   “DAAB_Assessment_Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection – 24th January 2026”
4. Click Launch Assessment and complete Face Registration
5. Close the window after submission
6. On exam day, click on the Assessment node to appear for the test

📌 Members who have already completed face registration for any ICAI exam earlier are not required to repeat it.

🔹 For Re-appearing Candidates (Fee Applicable)

• Re-attempt Fee:
  ₹500 + 18% GST = ₹590/-
  (Non-refundable)

Steps:

1. Login at 👉 https://learning.icai.org
2. Go to My Dashboard
3. Select:
   “DAAB_Assessment_Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection – 24th January 2026 (Re-appearance Link)”
4. Click Launch → Payment Link → Click Here to Pay
5. After payment, the main assessment product will appear in My Products
6. Launch the product and complete Face Registration
7. Appear for the AT on the scheduled date

📌 Candidates appearing for the first time are not required to pay any fee.

🚫 Unfair Means & Disciplinary Action

Use of unfair means or disorderly conduct during the examination is strictly prohibited.
Such cases will be referred to the Digital Accounting and Assurance Board (DAAB), which may impose penalties or disciplinary action as deemed fit.

❗ Important Instructions

• Login after 10:59 AM on the exam day will NOT be permitted
• Applications received after 17th January 2026 (5:30 PM) will not be accepted
• Members who have already cleared FAFD AT are not required to appear again
