I have noted that the ceiling fixed by the Council under rule 41 of the Chartered Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006, on election expenses (in aggregate under all possible heads) is Rs. 12.00 lakhs (Rupees Twelve Lakhs only). Further, I have not incurred any expenditure as a candidate for the election other than those stated in the statement above.
