ICAI Announces Mock Test Papers for CA Intermediate January 2027 Examinations
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Board of Studies (Academic), has announced Mock Test Papers Series I and Series II for students preparing for the CA Intermediate January 2027 examinations.
Series I will commence on 19 November 2026, while Series II will begin on 3 December 2026. Students can participate in these mock tests through physical or virtual modes to practise examination-style questions and assess their preparation before the main examinations.

2. Modes of Participation
ICAI will conduct the mock tests in both physical and virtual modes.
- Physical mode: Students wishing to take the tests in person may contact their respective ICAI branches or regional offices for registration and further details.
- Virtual mode: Students can access the question papers through the ICAI BoS Knowledge Portal or the ICAI BoS mobile application and attempt the papers independently.
3. How to Download Mock Test Papers and Answer Keys
Students can access the mock test materials through the following platforms:

The question papers will be uploaded on the relevant portals according to the announced schedule, by 9:30 AM on the respective test dates. Students should download the papers and attempt them within the prescribed three-hour examination duration.
4. Registration Procedure for Physical Mock Tests
Students who wish to participate in physical mock tests through ICAI branches or regional offices should follow these steps:
- Visit the BoS MTP Registration Portal.
- Select Student Login.
- First-time users should click on Register Now.
- Enter the ICAI registration number and date of birth.
- After completing the registration process, log in using the registered email address available in the Self Service Portal (SSP) records.
- Enter the OTP received on the registered email address to access the portal.
Students should follow the applicable instructions on the portal and contact their respective ICAI branches or regional offices for physical test participation.
5. Availability of Answer Keys and Self-Assessment
ICAI will upload the answer key for each mock test paper within 48 hours from the commencement of the respective examination, as per the announced schedule.
Students can use the answer keys to evaluate their responses, identify areas requiring improvement and assess their preparation for the January 2027 examinations.
