ICAI Announces Online Assessment Test for Certificate Course on Financial Markets and Securities Laws (FMSL) on 21 June 2026

The Financial Markets and Investors’ Awareness Committee of ICAI has announced the upcoming Online Assessment Test for participants of the Certificate Course on Financial Markets and Securities Laws (FMSL).

Registration and Authentication Requirements

Candidates must complete the mandatory face authentication process through the ICAI Digital Learning Hub on or before 18 June 2026 (1:30 PM IST).

Failure to complete the authentication process within the prescribed timeline may result in ineligibility to appear for the assessment test.

Assessment Fee

  • Participants enrolled in the 9th batch are exempt from examination fees.
  • Participants belonging to earlier batches are required to pay an assessment fee of ₹1,180 through the payment link available after login to the learning portal.

Eligibility Requirements

Members intending to appear for the assessment test should ensure that they meet the following conditions:

  • Possess an active ICAI Membership Number.
  • Achieve the minimum attendance requirement prescribed for the virtual professional training programme.
  • Have access to a desktop or laptop with reliable internet connectivity.
  • Use a device equipped with a functioning camera.
  • Maintain an active account on the ICAI Digital Learning Hub using SSP credentials.
  • Complete face registration and authentication before the specified deadline.
  • Upload a recent photograph on the SSP portal.
  • Successfully complete the live facial verification process during authentication.

Important Guidelines

  1. The assessment test will be conducted online through the ICAI Digital Learning Hub as per the notified schedule.
  2. Candidates should verify their login credentials and access to the learning platform well in advance of the examination date.
  3. Any technical or login-related concerns should be resolved before the examination day by contacting the designated support teams.
  4. Applications or requests received after the prescribed deadlines may not be considered for the current examination cycle.
  5. The assessment will comprise two papers:
    • Paper I: Chapters 1–7
    • Paper II: Chapters 7–14
