LIC of India IT Specialist Group: Amendment Rules

Life Insurance Corporation of India Information Technology Specialist Group (Selection, terms and conditions of service and Payment of Allowance) Amendment Rules, 2021.

G.S.R. 475(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Life Insurance Corporation Act, 1956 (31 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Life Insurance Corporation of India, Information Technology Specialist Group (Selection, terms and conditions of service and Payment of Allowance) Rules, 2007, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement:—
   (1) These rules may be called the Life Insurance Corporation of India Information Technology Specialist Group (Selection, terms and conditions of service and Payment of Allowance) Amendment Rules, 2021.
   (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
   
2. In the Life Insurance Corporation of India Information Technology Specialist Group (Selection, terms and conditions of service and Payment of Allowance) Rules, 2007, —
   
   (i) in rule 3,—
   (a) in clause (b), for the word “Chairman”, the word “Chief Executive” shall be substituted;
   (b) in clause (c), for the word “Chairman”, the word “Chief Executive” shall be substituted;
   
   (ii) in rule 8, in sub-rule (1), for the word “Chairman”, the word “Chief Executive” shall be substituted;
   
   (iii) in rule 10, in sub-rule (2), for the word “Chairman”, the word “Chief Executive” shall be substituted;
   
   (iv) in rule 11, for the word “Chairman”, the word “Chief Executive” shall be substituted;
   
   (v) in rule 12, for the word “Chairman”, the word “Chief Executive” shall be substituted.
