Notaries (Second Amendment) Rules, 2021- Notification
G.S.R. 746(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Notaries Act, 1952 (53 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Notaries Rules, 1956, namely :—
- (1) These rules may be called the Notaries (Second Amendment) Rules, 2021.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. - In the Schedule to the Notaries Rules, 1956, against serial number 13 relating to Uttar Pradesh,-
(i) in column (2), for the figures “2650”, the figures “5150” shall be substituted ;
(ii) in column (3), for the figures “2625”, the figures “5125” shall be substituted.
Note : The principal rules were published in the Gazette of India, Part Il, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number S.R.O. 324, dated the 14th February, 1956 and was last amended vide notification number G.S.R. 341 (E), dated the 25
th May, 2021.
