Notification to omit redundant entries and reduce export duty

Seeks to amend notification No. 27/2011-Customs dated 01.03.2011 to omit redundant entries and reduce export duty raw hides and skins of buffalo- Notification No. 10/2022-Customs

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 27/2011-Customs dated the 1st March, 2011, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 153(E), dated the 1st March, 2011, namely :-

In the said notification, in the Table,

(i) S. No. 20B and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted;
(ii) after S. No. 38A and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be inserted, namely: –

(iii) S. Nos. 63, 64 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.

2. This notification shall come into effect on the 2nd day of February, 2022.

Note: – The principal notification No. 27/2011-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2011 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 153(E), dated the 1st March, 2011 and last amended vide notification No. 27/2019-Customs, dated the 6th July, 2019 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 484(E), dated the 6th July, 2019.
