Online One week Capacity Development Workshop On Insolvency Laws (with specific focus on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016)

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:
Objective .- This one week capacity development programme on the Insolvency Laws has been designed by MNLU (in collaboration with the IBBI, ICSI, ICSI IIP and ICSI-WIRC) with a solemn objective to introduce the students and professionals (and those interested in this area of study) with the current insolvency and bankruptcy law regime in India. In addition, a comparative analysis with the Insolvency laws in UK and USA respectively and the contemporary challenges shall be included so as to provide a holistic view of the subject. The workshop shall be delivered using Socratic Method, and emphasis would be laid on decided case laws.
Programme Outcome.- At the end of the programme, the participants would:
Know Corporate Insolvency Resolution Procedure (CIRP) and Liquidation process;
Know the role of Insolvency Professionals (IPs) and Information Utilities (IUs);
Know the working of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), NCLT and NCLAT; &
Get the study material in a crystallised format;
Get a certificate of participation
