Option for Polling Booth in Ghaziabad City- Election 2021
In continuation of the Announcement dated 12th July, 2021 regarding option for polling booth in cities having more than one polling booth located at different addresses, it is announced for general information of members that in compliance with the ex parte Order of Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad in Writ C. No. 31365 of 2018, the cities of Indirapuram, Sahibabad and Vaishali have been treated as residential localities of Ghaziabad city and have accordingly been clubbed with Ghaziabad. In view of clubbing of these cities with Ghaziabad and separate polling booths are also proposed to be set up in these cities, the facility of exercising option to vote at a particular polling booth is also extended to members whose names are appearing in the List of Members as on 1.4.2021 in the cities of
Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Sahibabad and Vaishali and other cities/towns within the jurisdiction of these cities.
For the forthcoming elections to the Council and Regional Council, subject to confirmation for availability of accommodation from the respective authorities, it is proposed to set up polling booths at different locations in Ghaziabad. The locations of the proposed polling booths are published below.
- Income Tax Office,
C.G.O. Complex-I, Old Hapur Chungi,
Ghaziabad – 245 001 - DAV Public School,
Sector – 2, Rajender Nagar,
Sahibabad – 201 005 - Vaishali Public Junior High School,
Sector 3A,
Vaishali – 201 201 - One Polling Booth is also proposed to be set up in Indirapuram. Location for which is being identified.
Any member wishing to vote at a particular proposed polling booth, may send his written request to the Acting Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Post Box No. 7100, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110 002, so as to reach him latest by 20th August, 2021 either through e-mail at [email protected]; or
by any other mode.
