SEBI constitutes Advisory Committee (ALeRTS)
SEBI constitutes ‘Advisory Committee for Leveraging Regulatory and Technology Solutions (ALeRTS)’
In order to guide SEBI in its pursuit to enhance technological capabilities and explore appropriate technology solutions for early detection of market anomalies, SEBI has constituted an ‘Advisory Committee for Leveraging Regulatory and Technology Solutions (ALeRTS)’ headed by Ms. Madhabi Puri Buch, Ex-Whole Time Member, SEBI, and comprising experts from various technology domains as members. The terms of reference of the Committee are:
I. To recommend future roadmaps and improvements in the various on-going technology projects.
II. To guide SEBI in designing and framing requirements for the various in-house systems.
III. To guide SEBI from a domain perspective in finding appropriate technology solutions.
IV. To guide SEBI from a domain perspective, in ascertaining the adequacy of SupTech / RegTech tools envisaged / proposed to be used in-house for improving its capabilities.
