Revision in Policy Condition No. 2 under Chapter 95 of ITC (HS), 2022 – Schedule I (Import Policy)
Notification No. 64/2025–26

The Central Government, exercising its authority under Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, along with Paragraphs 1.02 and 2.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023 (as amended), has made a modification to the import policy provisions.

Accordingly, Policy Condition No. 2 (iii) under Chapter 95 of ITC (HS), 2022 – Schedule I (Import Policy) has been removed with immediate effect.

Impact:
As a result of this amendment, the earlier restriction/condition specified under Policy Condition No. 2 (iii) in Chapter 95 is no longer applicable from the date of issuance of this notification.

This decision has been issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry.
