ICAI Organizes the Nationwide Tax Clinics
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is organising nationwide Tax Clinics, aimed at creating awareness and resolving queries of taxpayers pertaining to filing of their income tax returns. These Tax Clinics, organized with the publication support of the Income Tax Department (PR, P&P), will be held on the 13th and 14th of July, 2023, through network of 168 branches and 5 Regional Councils of ICAI. The program is organised by the Direct Tax Committee of ICAI.
The objective of these Tax Clinics is to make financially aware, tax compliant & empowered India by creating awareness about tax compliances w.r.t filing of return of income amongst the taxpayers & common man.
Speaking on the initiative CA. Aniket Sunil Talati, President, ICAI said, “Tax Experts will be available during working hours at ICAI Bhawan across India to address queries and provide guidance on income tax return filing. The Tax Clinics will not only assist taxpayers in understanding intricacies of law but also raise awareness among the public regarding the importance of filing income tax returns and increase taxpayers base of the Country.”
ICAI emphasizes the significance of filing returns well in advance to avoid last-minute complications and encourages taxpayers to disclose all taxable income.
The event is being organised in the ICAI Bhawan in 168 branches and 5 Regional Council. ICAI welcomes the taxpayers for the same.
