Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Act 2021
Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Act, 2021 received the assent of the President on the 13th August, 2021.
An Act to amend the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008.
BE it enacted by Parliament in the Seventy-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
- (1) This Act may be called the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Act, 2021.
(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act and any reference in any such provision to the commencement of this Act shall be construed as a reference to the coming into force of that provision. - Throughout the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words and figures “the Companies Act, 1956” wherever they occur, the words and figures “the Companies Act, 2013” shall be substituted.
