MCA extends name reservation & e-form resubmission deadlines

MCA Extends Name Reservation & E-Form Resubmission Deadlines Till 10 July 2026

To support stakeholders affected by the data centre restoration activities following the incident of 5 June 2026, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has announced temporary relief measures.

1. Extension for Approved Name Reservations

Where the validity of an approved company or LLP name is scheduled to expire between 21 June 2026 and 30 June 2026, the validity will now stand extended up to 10 July 2026.

For name approvals that expired between 5 June 2026 and 20 June 2026, stakeholders may request an extension till 10 July 2026 by submitting a ticket to the MCA Helpdesk on or before 30 June 2026. Such requests will be reviewed individually after verification of the continued availability of the approved name.

2. Extension for E-Form Resubmissions

In cases where the last date for resubmission of an e-form falls between 21 June 2026 and 30 June 2026, the resubmission period has been extended up to 10 July 2026.

For e-forms whose resubmission deadline expired between 5 June 2026 and 20 June 2026, stakeholders may seek an extension by raising a ticket with the MCA Helpdesk by 30 June 2026.

If any such e-form was cancelled due to non-resubmission during this period, a request may also be made through the MCA Helpdesk for reopening. After verification and approval, the e-form may be reopened and allowed for resubmission up to 10 July 2026.

Key Deadline: 30 June 2026 — Last date to raise a request with the MCA Helpdesk for expired name reservations and resubmission cases.

Extended Validity: 10 July 2026.
