ICAI Announces Mock Test Paper Series I & II for CA Foundation September 2026 Examination
The Board of Studies (Academic) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the Mock Test Paper (MTP) Series I and Series II for students preparing for the September 2026 CA Foundation Examination.
These mock tests are intended to help students evaluate their preparation, practice under exam-like conditions, and identify areas that require further improvement before the final examination.
Mode of Conduct
The mock tests will be conducted in both physical and virtual modes. Students who wish to appear offline can register with their nearest ICAI Branch or Regional Office, while others may participate online by downloading the question papers from the official Board of Studies portals.

Accessing the Mock Test Papers
Students can download the question papers through the following official ICAI platforms:
- BoS Knowledge Portal
- ICAI BoS Mobile App (Android and iOS)
Question papers will be made available by 9:30 AM on the scheduled date for each paper. Students are encouraged to attempt the tests within the prescribed examination time to simulate actual exam conditions.
Answer Keys and Self-Assessment
Official answer keys for each mock test will be uploaded within 48 hours after the scheduled commencement of the respective paper. Students can compare their responses with the answer keys to assess their performance and identify topics requiring additional revision.
Registration for Physical Mock Tests
Students planning to attend the mock tests in offline mode should register through the BoS MTP Registration Portal or contact their nearest ICAI Branch or Regional Office.
Registration Process
- Open the BoS MTP Registration Portal.
- Select Student Login.
- New users should complete the registration process.
- Enter the CA registration number and date of birth.
- Verify the registered email address available in the SSP portal.
- Complete the login using the OTP received via email.
