Notification under section 5A Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 Act

S.O. 4764(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (19 of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of Government of India, in Ministry of Labour and Employment, S.O. 5668(E), dated the 09th November, 2018, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, SubSection (ii), dated the 09th November, 2018, namely:-

In the said notification, under the heading ‘Appointed under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 5A’, for serial number 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“ 2. VICE-CHAIRMAN
Minister of State for Labour and Employment,
Government of India,
New Delhi.

CO-VICE-CHAIRMAN
Secretary,
Ministry of Labour and Employment,
Government of India,
New Delhi. ”

Note : The principal notification reconstituting the Central Board of Trustees was published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, sub-section (ii), vide S.O. 5668(E) dated the 09th November, 2018 and subsequently amended vide S.O. 4323(E) dated the 02nd December, 2019, number S.O. 1269(E), dated the 19th March, 2020 and number S.O. 963(E), dated the 26 February, 2021.
