Request to submit online nomination for National CSR Awards to CL&CGC ICAI by 25th July, 2022

1. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has instituted National CSR Awards (NCSRA) in August 2018 to recognize companies for their CSR interventions that have made a transformative impact on society. First cycle of National CSR Awards was successfully carried out in 2019, winning and honourable mention companies were conferred awards by the Hon’ble President of India on 29 October 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
   
2. With this background, the Ministry has announced National CSR Awards — 2022 on 17th June 2022, which seeks to recognize outstanding CSR projects/ programmes in following three categories as per Scheme of National CSR Awards-2022 ((www.csr.gov.in):
   i. Four awards for excellence in CSR, based on CSR spend (one award is reserved for MSME)
   ii. Five awards for CSR projects in Aspirational Districts / Difficult Terrains (one award is reserved for MSME)
   iii. Eleven Awards for CSR projects in National Priority Areas (one award is reserved for MSME)
   
3. Companies may submit their nominations online by 25th July, 2022, for the given categories through the designated organisations and we would like to mention here that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a designated nominating organization for nominating the companies to the NCSRA-22 as approved by Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
   
4. The Nominations by the eligible companies for the National CSR Awards 2022 may be submitted by ICAI online to MCA till 31st July, 2022.
   
5. Accordingly, you may submit the Form (documents) to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on or before 25th July, 2022 at the designated email id [email protected] so that the applications for eligible companies can be submitted to Ministry within the given timeline.
   
6. A copy of the scheme for National Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards 2022 is available at
