Suspension of Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) for Food Products – Public Notice No.20/2025-26
In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023 (as amended from time to time), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby suspends the Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) specified in Annexure “A” to this Public Notice, with immediate effect.
- Exporters engaged in the export of products covered under the SIONs listed in Annexure “A” may continue to avail benefits under the Advance Authorisation Scheme, in accordance with the provisions of Para 4.03(b)(ii), Para 4.03(b)(iii), or Para 4.03(b)(iv) of the FTP 2023, as applicable.
Effect of this Public Notice:
The SIONs relating to food products, as detailed in Annexure “A”, stand suspended with immediate effect.
