The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), in collaboration with the Director of Public Grievances, the Registrar of Companies – Central Registration Centre (ROC-CRC), and the service provider, will organize an Open House Session on 10 July 2026 (Friday). The session aims to interact with stakeholders, understand practical challenges, and address procedural issues relating to the registration of foreign companies in India.

Topics proposed for discussion include:

  • e-Form FC-1: Common technical difficulties during filing, reasons for resubmission, and suggestions for smoother processing.
  • Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs): Challenges faced while registering DSCs for authorised representatives of foreign parent entities.
  • Business establishment in India: Guidance on selecting an appropriate business structure, such as a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary (WOS), Branch Office, or Liaison Office, along with issues relating to authentication/apostille of foreign documents, resident director requirements, and post-incorporation compliance obligations.
  • Other incorporation-related concerns: Participants may also raise any additional issues connected with the registration and compliance requirements of foreign companies in India.

The session provides an opportunity for stakeholders to share their concerns, seek clarifications, and offer feedback that may help improve the registration process and related regulatory procedures.
