Revise Market access support guidelines under Export Promotion

DGFT Revises Market Access Support Guidelines under Export Promotion Mission – Niryat Disha

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has issued Trade Notice No. 08/2026-27 dated 1 July 2026, introducing amendments to the operational framework of the Market Access Support (MAS) component of the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) – Niryat Disha.

These revisions modify certain provisions contained in the earlier guidelines issued through Trade Notice No. 19/2025-26 dated 31 December 2025. The objective is to provide greater operational clarity and improve implementation of the scheme.

Key Amendments

New Operational Guideline Introduced

A fresh provision has been inserted under the operational guidelines relating to cancellation or withdrawal from approved events.

Under the new rule:

  • If an event is cancelled or an approved participant withdraws, any advance financial assistance already released must be returned within 15 days from the date of cancellation or withdrawal.
  • If the amount is not refunded within the prescribed period, the beneficiary will be required to repay the grant together with simple interest at 10% per annum, calculated from the date on which the cancellation or withdrawal was communicated.

Other Provisions Continue: Except for the above amendments, all remaining provisions of Trade Notice No. 19/2025-26 dated 31 December 2025 continue to remain in force without any modification.

Effective Date: The revised provisions take effect from 1 July 2026, the date of issuance of Trade Notice No. 08/2026-27.
