ICAI Launches Online Peer Review Portal; Mandatory for New Applications from 2 July 2026
The Peer Review Board (PRB) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has introduced a fully integrated online portal to digitize and simplify the peer review process. The new platform is designed to automate every stage of the peer review cycle, from application submission to issuance of Peer Review Certificates.
Effective 2 July 2026, all new Peer Review applications (Form 1) must be submitted exclusively through the PRB Web Portal. Applications sent through any other mode, including physical submissions or email, will no longer be accepted.
The portal enables Practice Units and Peer Reviewers to carry out the entire peer review process online, including:
- Submission of new Form 1 applications.
- Allocation of Peer Reviewers.
- Online submission of Peer Review Reports.
- Digital processing and issuance of Peer Review Certificates.
Practice Units and Peer Reviewers are advised to log in to the portal for initiating new peer review applications and completing report submissions. Members are encouraged to use the portal for all future peer review-related compliance activities.

This initiative marks another step in ICAI’s efforts to modernize regulatory processes by improving efficiency, transparency, and ease of compliance through a fully digital workflow.
