Revision in Categories Available on the UDIN Portal

Revision in Categories Available on the UDIN Portal

Pursuant to a decision approved by the Council during its meeting held on 8 October 2025, the classification structure of categories and sub-categories on the UDIN Portal has been updated based on recommendations received from the relevant ICAI Committees and Board.

The following changes have been implemented:

  • The category “Certificates” has been renamed as “Certificates and Other Reports”.
  • The category “GST & Tax Audit” has been renamed as “Tax Audit”.
  • The category “Audit & Assurance Functions” remains unchanged.

Members generating UDINs are advised to select the revised categories while using the portal.
